Pyai Pyai Pwint is a regional specialist in private sector development, MSME promotion, trade facilitation, and value chain development, with more than 20 years of professional experience supporting business competitiveness and inclusive economic development across Myanmar and the Mekong region. She combines extensive field experience with strategic advisory expertise to strengthen enterprises, improve market access, and enhance the performance of small and medium-sized businesses.

She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Business and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Engineering Physics, providing her with a unique combination of business strategy, analytical thinking, and technical problem-solving. Throughout her career, she has worked with leading international development organizations, including JICA and GIZ, as well as national institutions such as the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI) Training Institute and the Myanmar–Japan Center, where she led business development initiatives, enterprise capacity building, and private sector support programmes.

Building on this experience, Pyai specializes in designing practical, market-driven training programmes and advisory services that respond directly to the needs of MSMEs, entrepreneurs, producer groups, and business support organizations. Her work integrates evidence-based research, business diagnostics, and participatory learning approaches to help organizations improve productivity, competitiveness, and long-term sustainability.
