Dr Aye is a committed educator, researcher, and development practitioner with over a decade of experience advancing inclusive education, digital transformation, and education in emergencies across Southeast Asia.
Holding a Ph.D. in Educational Economics and Management, Dr Aye brings academic rigor and field-tested insight to both policy and program implementation. Her work spans educational equity, digital learning strategies, and non-formal education access for marginalized groups, particularly out-of-school children and learners affected by crisis.
She has contributed to the education system strengthening in key technical and leadership roles, including:
✔️ Education Specialist at local and international non-governmental organizations
✔️ Technical Specialist – Education in Emergencies, leading EiE interventions in complex contexts
✔️ Research Collaborator with Mahidol University, focusing on Southeast Asia education systems
Her research has been published in international peer-reviewed journals and focuses on education policy, learner-centered pedagogy, and workforce skill mismatches, bridging the gap between research, systems reform, and classroom practice.
At the heart of Dr Aye’s work is a deep commitment to equity, innovation, and inclusive access with a strong belief that quality education should adapt to the needs of all learners, especially the most vulnerable.
