Dr. Nyein Ko Lwin, a dedicated public health professional and researcher, brings extensive experience advancing community health, humanitarian assistance, and health education across Southeast Asia. Trained as a Dentist (B.D.S.) and holding a Master of Public Health in Global Health from Thammasat University, he integrates clinical understanding with public health systems research to strengthen health outcomes in crisis and development settings. His work bridges health promotion, education policy, and transdisciplinary research, focusing on non-communicable disease prevention, school health programs, and community-based interventions. Dr Lwin has contributed to regional health system strengthening through key technical and research roles, including

✔️ Public Health Research Consultant and Principal Investigator (Myanmar Context) with Mahidol University, leading quantitative studies on physical activity and policy integration

✔️ Public Health & Humanitarian Aid Consultant, coordinating health education and emergency assistance for conflict-affected communities; and

✔️ Public Health Dentist, delivering preventive care and promoting oral and general health education at community level.

His research and fieldwork emphasize data-driven solutions and stakeholder collaboration, using mixed-methods analysis and SPSS to generate actionable evidence for policy and practice.
